Business Details

Inniskillin is a renowned winery specializing in premium icewines and high-quality table wines. The winery offers a refined tasting experience, showcasing its wines crafted from local vineyards.

Our Perspective

Inniskillin Winery stands as a cornerstone of Canadian winemaking, celebrated for its significant contributions and exceptional wines. Established in 1975, it became the first winery in Canada to receive a license since Prohibition, marking a pivotal moment in the country's wine history. Inniskillin's global acclaim began with its Vidal Icewine, which won the Grand Prix d'Honneur at Vinexpo in 1991, putting Canadian wine on the international map.

Visitors to Inniskillin can explore its two estates: the Niagara Estate in Ontario and the Okanagan Estate in British Columbia. Each location offers unique experiences that cater to different aspects of winemaking and tasting. At the Niagara Estate, guests can participate in a variety of tours and tastings, including the Icewine Experience, which delves into the history and production of their famous Icewine. Private tastings and vineyard tours are available, providing an in-depth look at the winemaking process from vineyard to bottle.

The Okanagan Estate, situated in a prime grape-growing region, benefits from the area's unique climate, which combines intense sunlight with cool nights to produce high-quality grapes. The tasting room here offers samples of both Inniskillin and Jackson-Triggs wines, allowing visitors to appreciate the distinct characteristics of Okanagan Valley wines.
