Osoyoos Christmas Lite-up

The Osoyoos Christmas Lite-Up 2024 offers a full weekend of festive activities. On Friday, December 6, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Kiwanis hosts the “Toys for Tots to Teens” event at Smitty’s, offering free breakfast in exchange for toy or cash donations. The Osoyoos Farmers Market runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Museum, alongside the Merchant’s Open House on Main Street. The Christmas Parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m. on Main Street, followed by Christmas carols around a bonfire at Gyro Beach and a spectacular fireworks display at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, December 7, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Kiwanis holds a Christmas Craft Fair at the Legion Hall, with entry by donation to the Food Bank. The Osoyoos Childcare Centre offers “Breakfast with Santa” from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and photos with Santa are available at Campo Marina Restaurant from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The celebrations conclude on January 1, 2025, with the 6th Annual “Desert Dip” at noon, complete with washrooms, a heating tent, and a bonfire to help participants warm up.
